It’s been another wonderful trip around the sun with our sweet Isla. I can’t believe she is now a 6 year old little lady!
Consistent with her personality that was clear from the time she was just a few months old, she is still the sweetest little girl I have ever known. I am not just saying that because she is my child, I literally had a complete stranger tell me this exactly. She loves everyone and loves showing it.
When she comes home from school she is bursting to tell me all about her friends and the great things about them. She always says how pretty someone looked or how nice they were. Any chance she can give a gift she will take it. Daily I get random I love you’s and hugs whether I deserve them or not. And let’s not get started on animals! They love her just as much as she loves them. Our grumpy old Calico kitty has pretty much claimed Isla as her person.
Every birthday I feel like I go on about Isla’s sweet personality and kind heart. It’s because it’s true! Having the honor of watching this baby of mine grow into such a sweet young lady has been an absolute joy. Everyday she blows me away with how much she has to give this world and she truly does make it a better place. Happy birthday baby girl, Mommy is so proud of who you are growing into.
