Fun fact: Margaret and Michael’s downtown Lagrange session almost didn’t happen in Lagrange. When Margaret reached out to me for her engagement session she mentioned that she was visiting Lagrange Georgia. She was originally interested in a downtown Newnan location, but after talking more she actually just wanted a downtown feel. This is exactly what I was hoping for! The last time I drove through Downtown Lagrange I was dying to shoot there! This town is so full of character and charm, perfect for an engagement! The only thing that made it better was Margaret and Michael! I mean…just look at these two, they are seriously the cutest couple!
The sweetest part of Margaret and Michael’s engagement was that they literally became engaged just a few days before this session. They were in town for a family member’s wedding and all of Margaret’s family was also here. Michael saw an opportunity and took it. He asked permission from Margaret’s father and two weeks later he popped the question in front of her whole family! Family is important to Margaret and it really meant a lot to her for them to be there for her proposal. You know this is a marriage that is meant to be when you have a partner that understands AND respects this!
Margaret and Michael were so much fun during their session. They happily bounced around downtown telling me all the details of how he proposed. Their excitement was both obvious and contagious. I was about half way home when I realized my cheeks were hurting from smiling the whole drive! I am not exaggerating when I say that this is the exact reason I love my job. I am a sucker for romance and couples like Margaret and Michael are the perfect example this!
